Thursday, the Brasserie Nationale d’Haïti S.A (Brana) presented its new high-tech bottling line to the international standard, which will allow now 54,000 cases of beer "Prestige" per day instead of 24,000 with previous installations.

In addition, Laurent Lilavois, the brand manager "Prestige" presented the new image of our national beer "The Prestige adopts a image closer to our history, a blue and red image, combining tradition and modernity, glorious past and promising future [...] We change image, our countr change image. A younger Prestige, more patriotic, more modern, in a Haiti open to change and strongly oriented towards modernity and progress."

Adding, "Our beer is more than a drink, it is a symbol of determination and Haitian know how [...] This is an ongoing effort to connect Haitians here and abroad, thanks to its presence in the U.S. and Canada since 2005. It is the pride to make discover each other our culture, our identity."

For José Matthijsse, the Director General of Brana "Prestige belongs to Haitian heritage [...] The success of the Prestige beer in Haiti for 40 years, is a Haitian success", recognizing however that Brana has made many progress since its acquisition in December 2011 when the Heineken Brewery increased its shareholding in Brasserie Nationale d'Haiti, from 22.5 to 95% and invested 40 million U.S. dollars in addition to the 100 million future investments, announced in October 2013 by Stefan Orlowski, President of the Americas Heineken, during his visit to Haiti.

Recall that in 2000 and 2012, the Haitian beer "Prestige" won a gold medal in the Lager category of "World Beer Cup".
