Haiti - Politic : The Department of State satisfied by the progress of the reform of the Haitian State 27/11/2013 09:34:00
Uder Antoine, the General Coordinator of the OMRH, accompanied by Antoine Verdier, Deputy Coordinator, briefly presented the achievements to date of the Government in the context of the implementation of the reform of the state and perspectives for the fiscal year 2013-2014. The support provided by the "Konekte" program, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development USAID, to the Government of Haiti has been discussed and suggestions were made by the Coordination for this program can continue to effectively support the Haitian Government particularly in the area of institutional strengthening. Recall that the "Konekte" program provides the Ministries and Agencies, on a competitive basis, consultants recruited mainly at the local level in order to help them strengthen their management systems and improve their performance. Danies Joe said he was very satisfied with the progress of the reform of the state and took the opportunity to congratulate Mr. Uder Antoine and his team for the concrete results in the last fifteen months.
