Haiti - Tourism : Visit of Laurent Lamothe in Île-à-Vache 21/02/2014 09:26:39 This visit will be an opportunity for the Head of Government to inaugurate infrastructure projects that fall under the tourism development of the island. He will take advantage to inaugurate the Community radio Voile FM and visit the craft market "Kay Kòk". Following the inspection of construction work of a public market, the Prime Minister will meet with community leaders about the socio-economic situation and the needs of the population, in order to bring lasting responses. On this occasion, the Minister spoke of a project of social facilities and renovation of cultural and tourism infrastructure, including a public square, an underwater museum, the inauguration soon of a cultural center with a conference room and a library. She also confirmed the completion of numerous infrastructure projects, including an international airport, the construction of a 17-kilometer road through the island from east to west, a repository of solid waste, the construction of a wharf and of a professional training center.
