Mortality rate (New York State) : 7.80% NEWS: The American drug REMDESIVIR authorized in hospitals by the FDA : The White House has announced that the pharmaceutical laboratory "Gilead Sciences" has obtained authorization from the United States Administration for the Regulation of Food and Pharmaceutical Products (FDA) for emergency use of REMDESIVIR. This authorization allows hospitals to use REMDESIVIR for severe cases of Covid-19 who require oxygen or breathing devices, for example, without having to participate in a clinical trial.
