Haiti - Football : FIFA temporarily suspends «Dadou» for 90 days
Following the accusations of sexual abuse of several young soccer players at the Center de la Croix-des-bouquets, brought against Yves Jean-Bart aka "Dadou" the President of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF) in 2 articles from the British daily newspaper "The Guardian" which cites anonymous sources and faced with the multiplication of reactions the International Federation of Football Association (FIFA) in a note which decided on Monday 25 May, to temporarily suspend the President of the FHF for 90 days, the time that all light be shed on these allegations.

FIFA note :
"In accordance with articles 84 and 85 of the FIFA Code of Ethics, the investigatory chamber of the independent Ethics Committee has provisionally banned Mr Yves Jean-Bart, President of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), from all football-related activities at both national and international level, for a period of 90 days.

This sanction has been imposed in connection with ongoing investigations concerning Mr Jean-Bart.

Mr Jean-Bart was notified of the decision today. The provisional sanction comes into force immediately."

Following this note, the FHF the same day informed "[...] following the provisional suspension measure of 90 days decided by the Investigation Chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee against the President in office of our Association, Dr Yves Jean-Bart, to facilitate the ongoing investigations, the Executive Committee will meet shortly to adopt the measures provided for in the Federation's general statutes and regulations.

The Haitian Football Federation wants to reassure the football family, affiliated clubs, members of the various central commissions that all measures will be taken to ensure the continuity of our activities in strict compliance with our own statutes, those of CONCACAF and of FIFA."
