Football : Sexual abuse, the DCPJ opens an investigation

The Central Directorate of the Judicial Police (DCPJ) announces the opening of an investigation to shed light on the accusations of sexual abuse of minors at the Ranch de la Croix-des-bouquets, brought against the President of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), Dr Yves Jean Bart in the English daily newspaper "The Guardian" https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-30667-haiti-news-zapping.html . The Deputy Spokesman of the National Police of Haiti specifies that agents of the Brigade for the Protection of Minors are already working on this file.

Assessment of the ambulance center

Statistics of the National Ambulance Center (CAN) for the month of April 2020: 299 obstetric emergencies, 147 road accidents, 110 cases of chronic diseases, 34 trauma, 48 transfers, 29 cases of Covid-19 confirmed, 26 wounds by bullets and 134 other cases.

Yves Jean Bart takes legal action against The Guardian

The President of the Haitian Football Federation, Yves Jean Bart aka "Dadou" announces legal proceedings against the English daily "The Guardian" who accuses him of rape of young players. "Dadou" claims to have evidence that VIPs paid players to make false accusations. At the origin of this case, he points the finger at a "racist" blogger who would daily express his hatred against Haiti. Taiwan : support for the most vulnerable

Wednesday, the Embassy of Taiwan (Republic of China) presented on behalf of "SimplyHelp", a container of clothes, shoes and footballs to the Rotary Club of Pétion ville in order to provide support to the most vulnerable in these difficult times from Covid-19.

Arrest of two rapists of minors

Divisional Inspector Garry Desrosiers informed of the arrest of two individuals in the past two weeks for their alleged involvement in rape of minors : Isaac Hilaire (24), was arrested on April 29 at Bon-Repos for rape followed by pregnancy and abortion on a 15 year old minor and Lainé Wisnel was arrested for rape on a 16 year old teenager, and arrested on May 5, 2020 in Petite-Place Cazeau.
