For the first time in its history the Junior Chamber International of Haiti (JCI Haiti), received at the World Congress of the Junior Chamber International in November in Brazil, the price of "Best Project for Growth and Development" that rewards the efforts of the national office in the development of the movement across the country. For 2013, 6 new members local organizations were created in Mirebalais, Port-au-Prince, Les Cayes, in Miragoâne, Ouanaminthe and Jérémie.

This award also recognizes the good management of the organization by the National Office for 2013, led by Dr. Jude Jacqueswho was further elected during this Congress, member of the American Development Council. This is the first Haitian member of JCI movement, to hold this position internationally. "It is an honor," said Jude Jean Jacques, who will have to work hard to meet his new role and fulfill to his professional and family obligations. But far from seeing it as a personal achievement, Dr. Jude Jacques also a professor at the University of Notre Dame D'Haiti, believes it is the result of the work of all local offices and all members of the organization, which have worked hard for the positioning of the JCI Haiti on the international stage.
