Haiti - Politic : «Gouvènman an lakay ou» in Gonaïves
Saturday it's an enthusiastic populationwho welcomed in Gonaïves, the governmental delegation of program "Gouvènman an lakay ou" led by the Prime Minister, Laurent Lamothe.

This 5th edition of "Gouvènman an lakay ou" focused among other on road infrastructure and sanitation projects, the economy and on social programs in the City of Independence and its surroundings.

Prime Minister Lamothe took this opportunity to visit the project of construction of the La Providence Hospital and construction sites of Sports Center "Bassin Mayan", second municipal section. He also went to the Faculty of Law and Economics Sciences of Gonaïves where he inaugurated a computer lab equipped with 62 computers with unlimited access to Internet "This initiative is part of the President's vision and my Government to continue to modernize the Haitian education system by making available to students and academics of modern tools of communication," said the Prime Minister.



Recall that the work in progress in the department of Artibonite are part of the Special Plan implemented by the government, announced by the Head of State during the celebration of the 210th anniversary of independence on 1 January. More than 5 million U.S. dollars will be invested in the construction and repair of roads and tourist infrastructure of the department to improve the living conditions of the population and restore this historical town with yesteryear influence.
