Haiti - Health : Launch of the Strategy Results-Based Financing
Dr. Florence D. Guillaume, Minister of Public Health and Population (MSPP)proceeded this week at the Royal Oasis Hotel to the launch of the Strategy Results-Based Financing (FBR).

Officially presented as a strategy for funding health care nationally, the FBR remains a tool to be used to rationalize the use of resources by seeking donor alignment with national priorities in the field of health. The adoption of the FBR will by 2018, covering about 300 health institutions with funding from the World Bank (WB) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

In his speech, the Minister of Health, recalled the clear desire of the Administration Martelly and Lamothe Government, so that the constitutional requirements for health are respected by the state and the Department's efforts for the establishment of health care systems standardized, fair and accessible to everyone. She thanked all the partners who support his ministry including the World Bank and USAID through the project Leadership Management and Gouvernance (LMG)​​, directly involved in the implementation of the FBR strategy throughout the national territory .

Finally, Dero Ndicumana, Director of the World Bank in Haiti, believes that "it is a long adventure, a long way that began for the Ministry for Health for Health Transformation in Haiti and which inevitably will lead social change in the country."
