Haiti - Reconstruction : President Martelly visited the flyover under construction in Delmas
Thursday, President Michel Martelly, accompanied by Philippe Cinéas, the Secretary of State for Public Works, visited the flyover under construction in Delmas to inquire about the progress and visited the firm Geo Wiener.

Launched in early November 2013, https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-8288-haiti-reconstruction-two-major-elevated-highway-interchange-in-delmas-and-carrefour.html construction works of the overpass which will connect Delmas to Nazon aim to solve the problem of traffic jam on the road of Delmas. The Head of State stressed the need to accelerate the project, which is scheduled for completion in early 2015.




Thereafter, the Head of State, accompanied by Wilson Laleau, the Minister of Trade and Industry, visited the firm Geo Wiener, a processor of agricultural products, based on Delmas Road. Warmly welcomed by the management team and the workers. President Martelly, took the opportunity to reiterated the determination of his administration to assist the private sector to create more job opportunities in the country.
