Haiti - Security : The hunt for escaped of Saint-Marc is open

Tuesday, following the escape of 34 prisoners this weekend from the civil prison of Saint Marc, north of Port-au-Prince https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-12634-haiti-security-escape-in-saint-marc-34-prisoners-escape-update-02-12-2014.html , the National Police of Haiti (PNH) increase its monitoring at the border with the Dominican Republic.
The Dominican authorities have also taken steps to try to prevent these escapees from entering the country. The General Directorate of Immigration and the National Department of Investigations Dominican have alerted their staff in service at the border, airports and ports in the Dominican Republic to prevent the entry of Haitian fugitives. The Haitian authorities have sent a list with the names, photos and information on each escapee.
