Haiti - FLASH : Composition of the new Ministerial Cabinet (UPDATE 5:53 p.m.)
Following the installation of Prime Minister Evans Paul at the Primature https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-12963-haiti-flash-official-evans-paul-installed-at-the-primature.html the General Secretariat of the Presidency informs the population in general that the Prime Minister, in agreement with the President of the Republic, proceeded this Sunday, January 18, 2015, in accordance with the Constitution, to the formation of the Ministerial Cabinet.

This new cabinet includes 20 ministers, including 6 of the Government Martelly-Lamothe (position unchanged) and 2 of the Government Martelly-Lamothe (change of position) ; and 17 secretaries of state including 9 of the Government Martelly-Lamothe.

A new ministerial function was created, Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister in charge of electoral issues and threenew secretaries of state functions : for Agrarian Reform; to the Jutsice ; and for social organizations.

We also note the disappearance of the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister, Responsible for Energy Security; of the Delegate Minister to the Prime Minister,Responsible for the promotion of the Peasantry; of the Minister Delegate to the Prime Minister, Responsible for Human Rights and the Fight Against Poverty Extreme.

UPDATE 5:53 :
During the ceremony of investiture of the members of the new cabinet of Evans Paul at the National Palace, were announced two new Ministers and a Secretary of State who were not on the list provided by the General Secretariat of the Presidency :

The citizen Jean Marie Claude Germain was appointed Minister of the Environment ; (replaces Jean François Thomas)

The citizen Jimmy Albert was appointed Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action ; (replaces Himler Rebu)

The citizenJacquenet Oxilus was appointed Secretary of State for Justice ; (nouvel fonction)

This brings the number of ministers to 20, and the number of secretaries of state to 17.
