Haiti - Politic : Installation of Ariel Henry (INITE), new Minister of the Interior 22/01/2015 10:45:30
The ceremony took place at the premises of the Directorate of Civil Protection in Juvénat in the presence of the Engineer Hertz Obas, Diurectir Genral and of Major Patrick Bastien of MICT and several Government officials, senior officials of the party INITE and former parliamentarians. In his speech, Minister Henry declared, "I will ensure that we have satisfactory elections, free, democratic and inclusive," ensuring that due to the stakes "It is necessary to be prepared to deal with any eventuality, and we will work on that [...] I want to give politicians, the people of Haiti, the guarantee that I will make all the efforts and sacrifices possible to fulfill to the best my mission." Regarding the sensitive issue of immigration and emigration he assure that his ministry will "[...] do everything possible for there to be a climate of peace and security [...]".
