Haiti - FLASH : Demonstration in parallel strictly prohibited 20/02/2015 18:15:12
The ceremony will take place as planned at the Champ de Mars from 8:00 am. Consequently, to preserve the solemnity of the ceremony and to express our respect to the memory of those disappeared, the Ministry informs that any demonstration in parallel, from any source whatsoever, is strictly prohibited. The security forces will thus ensure the success of a unique and solemn ceremony in memory of compatriots whose we still mourn the departure. Faced with this distressing bereavement, there is only one answer: the National Unit, true foundation around which everyone must be found, with a firm determination to carry high the values of tolerance, pluralism and diversity that characterize our Republic and restore meaning to those moments of attachment, affirmation and strengthening of the foundations of the Nation. The Ministry of Justice, on behalf of the Government of the Republic, took the opportunity to renew his sympathy to the relatives of the victims and all the great Haitian family collectively afflicted by this loss.
