After the challenging of the candidacy of former Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe "Parti Peyizan", for discharge failure, by Jean Nazaire Thidé, Coordinator of the party of radical opposition "JISTIS" https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-13957-haiti-news-electoral-zapping.html , several citizens decided to contest for various reasons 4 other candidates : Jean-Henri Céant "Renmen Ayiti", Edwin Zenny (Edo) "Konbit Nasyonal". Jovnel Moise (PHTK) the candidate of the ruling party and Kesler Dalmacy "Mopanou".

According to Luther Eugène, Secretary-Treasurer of BED Ouest 1, the challenging of the candidacy of Laurent Lamothe is on the agenda of the first day of hearing, Monday, May 25, 2015.
