The new Sunrise Airways regular service to Santo Domingo, builds upon its scheduled operations between Port-au-Prince, Haiti and Santiago de Cuba, Cuba. Travellers can connect on same-day service from Santo Domingo to Santiago de Cuba, via Port-au-Prince or vice versa. Sunrise Airways also operates 52 weekly scheduled domestic flights between Port-au-Prince and Cap Haitien – four rotations daily Monday-Saturday, plus two rotations on Sundays. "Even as we were working toward Part 129 certification, we were already in expansion mode, increasing our domestic flights between Port-au-Prince and Cap Haitien to meet consumer demand," indicated Philippe Bayard. "Now we're looking at acquiring larger aircraft to better connect the Caribbean."
