Haiti - Economy : Inauguration of the new world class Port Lafito 03/07/2015 08:59:55 In his speech, Alix Célestin, said that the realization of this project is the result of a true partnership between the Group Biggio (GB Group), the Haitian government and several entrepreneurs of the Haitian private sector. Gilbert Biggio, the President of multinational consortium "GB Group" especially thanked the President of the Republic and the Director General of the APN who contributed to the realization of the new Port Lafito. Recall that the Port Lafito whose cost amounts to $ 150 million, initiated by the GB Group, is the first Panamax port of Haiti (world class modern container port) and the centerpiece of the economic zone of project Lafito Global.
