Haiti - Security : Seizure of 50 drug packets from Haiti

The National Drug Control Directorate (DNCD) Dominican, arrested at the border of Jimani two suspected drug traffickers, who were returning from Haiti in a Jeep Toyota Land Cruiser gray, registered G088723, with 50 packages of drugs hidden within one of the fuel tanks of the vehicle.

In addition to the drugs, the DNCD has seized 11.315 dollars in cash and 6.605 gourdes and 7 cell phone used in their illicit operations. According to the DNCD, the two individuals of Dominican origin had a criminal record and lived in the city of Santiago.
