iciHaiti - Sports : The Minister Albert participates to the workshop ANS West

The Minister of Youth, Sports and Civic Action, Jimmy Albert, participated Thursday to the room Thérèse of the Le Plaza Hotel to the workshop for the review of the sports policy organized by the Departmental Direction West (DDO) according to the draft document of the National Assizes of Sports (ANS) approved in July by the national sports federations and associations.

The Minister thanked and invited participants to make the best suggestions and make their contribution to the development of a national sports policy.

"The efforts already made to provide the sector with a national policy and legislation must not be vain," stressed Mr. Albert who has advocated a participatory approach by partnering with national sports federations invited to reflect and to revise the existing documents since 2011. He has, also issued the wishes to see the State and society understand the need to invest a little more in the sector.

11 more workshops were held Friday in other areas and departments of the country with the participation of technicians from the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Civic Action (MJSAC) and representatives of federations.
