The announcement Saturday of the sudden revocation by the administration Martelly-Paul, of Justin Viard, the Consul General of Haiti in Montreal, caused many reactions of misunderstanding within the Haitian community of Montreal, which in the absence of explanations has difficulty to understand this decision. In a letter addressed to Justin Viard, the Haitian Fabienne Colas, who says to be shocked of this sudden departure, paid him a fitting tribute, that undoubtedly shares many of our compatriots in the diaspora community of Montreal.

Words can not express the extent of my surprise on hearing that you were suddenly relieved of your functions of Consul General of Haiti in Montreal ( https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-15053-haiti-flash-justin-viard-consul-general-of-haiti-in-montreal-revoked.html ). The Haitian community of Montreal loses a Consul General of dynamism and exemplary leadership. Haiti lost, alas, a great visionary representative that honored it everywhere.

Thank you for being a so attentive ear to us all. Thanks to your initiative and your great vision, Haiti will have its National School of humor, with the collaboration of outstanding partners in Quebec - we are all behind this great and beautiful project through particular Hahahaïti.
