Wednesday, Frantz Fortunat, the Director of the Research Office in Computer Science and Economic and Social Development (BRIDES) presented a new poll conducted from October 5 to 11 through 119 constituencies in the country, on a sample of 11.991 people.

According this poll Jude Célestin presidential candidate under the banner "Alternative League for Progress and the Haiti Empowerment" (LAPEH) leads with 31.6% of voting intentions, Jovenel Moise (PHTK) came second with 12.7% of voting intentions, followed by Moïse Jean Charles "Pitit Dessalines" 10.6% and Maryse Narcisse" Fanmi Lavalas" 6.5%.

According to Frantz Fortunat, the difference of 18.9% between the candidates Célestin and Jovenel Moise, would be due to the unpopularity of Jovenel Moïse in the departments of West and Artibonite.

However, a second poll by the firm of studies "Sigma Stat Consulting Group" and Associates, conducted from October 6 to 10, 2015 gives Maryse Narcisse in first place with 35% of the vote, followed by Jude Célestin 27.4%, 27.4%, Jovenel Moïse 17.2% and Moïse Jean-Charles 12,5%.
