The MONOP threat to harden its position if...
According to André Cadot, the leader of the "National Movement for the Organization of the Country" (MONOP), following the three days of mobilization last week to force the CEP to respect the choice made by the people in the election on October 25 "If nothing is done after three days of mobilization, we will move to the 'volcanic operation'. The Haitian people expressed its will for three days and showed his refusal to accept the maneuvers of power to divert the popular vote for Jovenel Moïse."

The PM is not opposed to an independent Commission but...
On the sidelines of the 4th Annual Conference of the National Association of Haitian Professional (NAHP) in Florida, Prime Minister Evans Paul reacting to a request from the opposition declared TO their intention "I have no problem doing an independent Commission. The question is who will be part of this Commission because the confidence crisis in Haiti does not exclude anyone.

CEP members come from institutions whose countries trust the most. If you do not trust these people, others that you will name in this, Commission, on what planet you find them ?"

Jean Chavannes Jeune denounce and reject the preliminary results
Pastor Jean Chavannes Jeune, candidate for president under the banner of the Platform "Canaan" has addressed a letter to the electoral advisers to denounce and reject the partial publication of preliminary election results on 25 October for the presidential. He claims to have evidence, from the Minutes that he received and according to him, he would have 49,533 vote for 7 departments, while the CEP has placed him in 11th place with only 10.482 votes. Without that we know, however, if all the PVs he as in hands are valid...

It would have been better to delay the publication of results
For the Adviser Jaccéus Joseph, Representative of Human Rights within the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), which has not signed the partial preliminary results of the October 25 nor those of 9 August "t would have been better to delay publication of the results and take little more time to check all the frauds that were reported. Everything must be clear," adding "There is nothing wrong with the approach of actors who demand clarification on what happened on October 25."
