Haiti - Jacmel : The political parties denounce the embezzlements of INITE and the CEP 17/11/2010 16:15:08 Zidore Fednel, former Vice-delegate district of Jacmel and departmental coordinator of the party MPH, with Jacques Edouard Alexis as presidential candidate, denounced the violation of electoral laws by the Electoral Council Provisional (CEP) through its representative Antenord Warrior, departmental counselor of Sud'Est (Article 140 of the Electoral Law relating to the choice of offices Vote (BV)). Less than 15 days before the election, new polling stations are being installed in an isolated way, without informing the political parties. According to Article 138-1 of the electoral law, lists of BV should be submitted to political parties and posted at the poll station, 30 days before the election. "Until now, nothing is done," he deplored. The Coordinator of MPH, has denounced some members of the electoral machine of the Southeast and especially Antenord Warrior, the departemental council, which plan a massive plan of fraud on election day. For his part, Yves Rabel, coordinator of "Ansanm nou fò" in Southeast denounced irregularities in the electoral process. He indicated that the 545 BV, increased to 621 currently and in 228 BV, 75% of election supervisors had been dismissed without cause. "All these changes are made without the backing of political parties," he affirmed. For its part, Wilnet Content, parliamentary candidate for the First District of Jacmel, the party "Ansanm nou fò " said that all representatives of political parties influential in the department, from this conference have agreed to dismiss all the petty interests, and defend the common good of the country, particularly that of the department of South-East. This last request to all political parties to unite, to counter all forms of skullduggery in the elections of November 28, 2010. Wilnet Content, strongly criticizes the immoral behavior of representative of INITE , that oath terror in Jacmel and use, the dialectic of arms in order to win elections. Richard Desir, a representative of the party "Renmen Ayiti", of Presidential candidate, Jean Henry Céant, denounced the relocation of some polling stations usually placed in the downtown of Jacmel, and currently located in the locality of Breman, east of Jacmel. "All of these polling stations will be located at the National School of Breman about 10 meters from the residence of Senator Joseph Lambert, coordinator of the National Platform INITE, where voters will not be safe during the elections day, because of the commando of INITE [under the orders of the Senator Lambert], which has already begun to sow terror in the city". Despite all the intimidation and acts of banditry from the partisans close to the power in place, Mr Richard Desiré asks the population to go to vote on November 28th. For its part, Adonis Noé, the representative of the party "Repon Peyizan", party of Joseph Michel Martelly, presidential candidate, said that this joint press conference, reflects the process of learning democracy. This last, denounced the change of the members of the BV who is done by the staff of the departmental electoral Office (BED) and the distribution of money, to some election observers, to buy their conscience. Adonis Noé asks the authorities of the country, to assume their responsibility in this matter. Note that, representatives of political parties participating in the press conference, announced that they had to call in military support of the former Haitian Armed Forces (FADH) and revoked police officers of the Haitian National Police (PNH), in order to thwart the criminal acts of the INITE partisans. Article 138.1 The Permanent Electoral Council makes public, in the BED and BEC, the list of voting centers as well as members who are affected at least thirty (30) days before polling day.
