"We must give time for Haitians to organize elections" dixit OAS

Rubén Silié Valdés, the Dominican ambassador in Haiti, said the interim Haitian President Jocelerme Privert, has expressed interest in closer ties with the Dominican Republic. He said the administration of the new interim Haitian government took an important turning point in relations between the two countries.
