Haiti - Politic : Minister Nazaire explore cooperation avenues with Japan

Friday, as part of the consultation undertaken with the countries open to develop a partnership aimed at contribute to developing the sport and the development of Haitian youth, Abel Nazaire, the Minister of Youth, Sports and the Civic Action, after recently met with representatives of Taiwan https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17165-haiti-sports-sports-cooperation-with-taiwan.html , and from the People's Republic of China https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17454-haiti-sports-the-minister-nazaire-requests-assistance-from-china.html and South Korea https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-17566-haiti-news-zapping-politics.html , met with the Ambassador of Japan accredited to Haiti, Yoshiaki Hatta.

The exchanges between the Minister Nazaire and the Japanese diplomat, took place around new potential avenues of cooperation, in three sub-sectors: youth, sports and civic action.

The Ambassador Hatta, ho intends to study these new avenues of cooperation to strengthen ties between the two countries, believes that Friday's meeting is a first step towards the implementation of concrete projects in these three sub-sectors.

The Minister Nazaire thanked the Ambassador Hatta for his interest in the development of Japanese cooperation in the area and promises to continue to discuss with the diplomat of opportunities to intervene specifically in the education field through the "École l'Espoir", a structure of MJSAC providing training for youth in masonry, carpentry and auto mechanics.
