Haiti - Politic : Enex Jean-Charles wrote to the Minister of Justice

In a letter dated June 2, addressed to the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Me Camille Junior Edouard, Prime Minister Enex Jean-Charles asked him to ensure that the prosecution act in strict compliance with the law, and to curb any act of parquetiers of the Republic that would affect the rights and freedoms guaranteed by the Constitutions and International Conventions...

"[...] In reference to the different correspondences of the Prosecutor's Office of the Court of First Instance of Port-au-Prince to the Director of Immigration and Emigration notifying it, for the suites, of departure bans against against former officials of the State, I have the advantage of asking you to instruct the said Prosecutor's Office to ensure that its actions are circumscribed in compliance with the law.

I am convinced that this request will meet your concern for respecting the principles of the rule of law [...]" wrote Prime Minister Enex Jean-Charles.
