Haiti - Politic : Two important bills passed in urgency
Tuesday, August 30 at the National Palace, the de facto President Jocelerme Privert assisted by the Prime Minister Enex Jean-Charles, presided a Council of Ministers.

They are, the Bill amending the Law of 11 November 2013 sanctioning money laundering and terrorist financing and the bill on the organization and operation of the Central Unit of Financial Information (UCREF).

In addition to these pressing issues :

A bill amending the Law of 18 December 2002 establishing a financial nature organization called "Fonds d'Entretien Routier" (FER) was adopted;

Two decrees declaring of public utility of surfaces in some areas of the country to facilitate the construction of roads and 3 decrees authorizing the establishment of industrial free zones for exports have also been adopted.

Finally, issues related to the new school year scheduled on September 5 and the electoral process were discussed. In its efforts to support poor parents in the next school year, Privert directed to the Prime Minister, to do everything possible to help these parents, despite the modest State resources in the current context.
