Haiti - Elections : Michaëlle Jean, asks to the Haitians to show perseverance

Michaelle Jean, special envoy to Haiti for UNESCO, asks to the Haitians to show perseverance to get through this electoral period shaken by confusion and violence. She believes it is important to use the democratic and judicial mechanisms already in place to manage the alleged electoral irregularities.
"Then, Haitians will be able finally to focus on the ultimate goal: the pursuit of the common good [...] It is imperative to reach political stability in order to continue reconstruction efforts in Haiti", said special envoy to Haiti for UNESCO.
