Haiti - Elections : «There was cheating» dixit Jude Célestin
Following the publication of the preliminary results of the presidential election giving a large victory in the first round to Jovenel Moïse candidate under the banner of PHTK (55.67% of the votes) https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-19370-haiti-flash-preliminary-results-1st-round-elections-20-november-2016.html , Jude Célestin, candidate for the presidential election under the banner of the "Alternative League for the Progress and the Haitian Emancipation" (LAPEH), arrived 2nd with 208.837 votes (19.52% of the votes), declared "We say that there was cheating and we will see who cheated," explaining "there were no manifestations of joy in Haiti : a candidate who wins with more than 55%, there should be spontaneous manifestations of people going out on the streets because they are happy."
