Thursday Lieutenant-General Jodel Lesage, Commander-in-Chief of the Haitian Armed Forces, recently appointed by the Head of State https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-22737-haiti-flash-president-moise-appoints-acting-commander-in-chief-of-the-army-of-haiti.html made his first official visit to the Léogâne Military Base.

Accompanied by Colonel Louis Marcelin Daniel, Director General of the Ministry of Defense, Captain Louicin Dieudonné, Director of the Corps of Military Engineering and Colonel Joseph Jacques Philogène, Director of Civil Defense, Lieutenant General Jodel Lesage went to the esplanade where nearly a hundred soldiers marched in 3 platoons to the rhythm of the fanfare, to pay military honors to their Commander-in-Chief.

Lieutenant-General Lesage then visited the base and its facilities before holding a working session with Colonel Daniel.
