Haiti - Economy : The PNH tracks zombies checks and recovers millions ! 29/01/2018 08:58:57
For the last 3 months only, these verifications and investigations have enabled the General Directorate of the PNH to recover nearly 50 million gourdes of zombies checks attributed to both police officers and administrative staff. Moreover, the Directorate General of the PNH decided, in some police station to hand itself the checks to beneficiaries, which caused in several police stations, to the announcement of this measure, the spontaneous return of several hundred checks of which the amount has not yet been recorded. For Michel-Ange Gédéon, the Director General of the PNH this reaction proves that police station officials are well involved in this fraud to zombies checks.
