Haiti - Cap-Haïtien : The Fire Protection Corps of the Airport, modern and well equipped

During a visit of the Fire Protection and Rescue Corps (CPIS) of the Cap-Haïtien International Airport (AICH) by a delegation from the National Airports Authority (AAN), Léopold Morlan, Brigade Chief at the level of the fire department, congratulated the dynamism of Pierre Édouane the Coordinator General of the Airports of Province and Jean-Joseph Larosilière Coordinator of the AICH, which work tirelessly to upgrade this infrastructure.

Composed of 31 firefighters including two women, the Fire Protection and Rescue Corps (CPIS) of the Airport has been housed for nearly 3 years in a brand new premises, equipped with modern equipment for the daily training of firefighters assigned to this service.

Charitable Néhémie (28), a CPIS Training Manager for the past three months, thanked the AAN authorities for thinking of including women in this once-male firefighter corps. Inviting girls not to neglect the opportunities offered by some trades practiced for a long time exclusively by men.
