Haiti - Elections : Youri Latourtue does not recommend to Mirlande Manigat to challenge the results

Youri Latourtue, Senator of the Artibonite member of the Collectif pour le Renouveau Haïtien (COREH) which supported the candidacy of Mirlande Manigat, has welcomed the victory of Michel Martelly and does not recommend to the candidate to produce protests following the publication of preliminary results of elections, in order to favor the interests of the country.

The Candidate has accused yesterday at a press conference, the President of the Provisional Electoral Council (CEP), Gaillot Dorsinvil and electoral advisers, to have changed the results of the presidential elections on the night of Sunday, April 3, speaking of "Mafia-type operation"...

Allegations which were denied today, after verification, by the joint mission OAS/CARICOM (JEOM). During her speech, the candidate did not mention its intention to dispute officially or not the results...
