Haiti - Education : The Ministry of Education is looking for ways to implement budget cuts 03/03/2019 11:05:25
The main purpose was to share information on the budgetary restrictions envisaged by the Government through the Ministry of Finance and the measures to be adopted to try to comply with them. How to apply budgetary restrictions and respect the various commitments of the Ministry to teachers as well as the recent appointments that must be made to emerge from the state budget ? Was one of the main issues discussed during this meeting. How to achieve better management of the operating budget and better share information on the operations carried out, are two other issues that have also been the subject of intense discussions. At the end of the exchanges, a set of provisions were adopted in order to reach the set objectives. A follow-up committee has been set up and must present its report within one week for the follow-up.
