Haiti - Tennis : The Haitian-Japanese Naomi Osaka eliminated in 8th final at Indian Wells tournament
Monday evening, 3rd round of the tournament at Indian Wells in California, the Haitian-Japanese Naomi Osaka (21 years), number 1 worldwide, has won a 9th consecutive victory at Indian Wells, (since its coronation at Indian Wells in 2018 https://www.icihaiti.com/en/news-23856-icihaiti-tennis-the-japanese-of-haitian-origin-naomi-osaka-wins-the-tournament-indian-wells-2018.html ) against the American 25-year-old Danielle Rose Collins (25th in the world) that she dominated in 2 sets [6-4, 6-2] with a very competitive first round and qualified for the round of 16.

Tuesday in the 8th finals, against Swiss Belinda Bencic (22, 23rd in the world) Naomi was unable to worry Belinda, who won in 2 sets [6-3, 6-1] eliminating Naomi from Indian Wells Tournament "It's a little tough compared the look of the game, but I'm really happy," said Belinda Bencic after the match, adding, "Naomi, she's number one and she's almost everything gained in recent months."

On the other hand Naomi, the star of the women's tennis, seemed to be doing quite well her defeat and elimination saying "I think the match was pretty good [...] Normally I should be sad after a result like that but I feel pretty good because I tried my best, so I have no regrets.
