Haiti - Sports : The Sylvio Cator Stadium soon to international standards

Following the visit made to the Sylvio Cator Stadium on March 27th https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27332-haiti-football-towards-the-rehabilitation-of-the-stadium-sylvio-cator.html , Edwing Charles the Minister of Youth and Sports met this week with the President of the Haitian Football Federation (FHF), Dr. Yves Jean Bart aka "Dadou" at the FIFA Goal Center of Croix-des-Bouquets, around the specifications to be met to obtain authorization to host international matches at the Sylvio Cator National Stadium.

Bart exposed to the Minister Charles the requirements of the "Confederation Of North, CONCACAF Central American and Caribbean Football Association" relating inter alia cloakrooms, sanitary blocks and the presidential box...

Determined to accompany the Haitian sports movement, Minister Charles took note of all the criteria submitted to the FHF and undertook to take the necessary steps to comply with the specifications submitted by the regional football body.

In the company of a construction company, he intends to quickly evaluate the interventions required by the Sylvio Cator Stadium to meet the standards allowing it to receive major league international meetings such as the United States or Mexico who did not come have played in Haiti since 50 and 46 years respectively.

Moreover, other points related to the international deadlines of the national selections and football in general were discussed during this meeting which took place in the presence of Mario Florvil, Director General and senior officials of the Ministry and the Secretary General of the FHF, Carlo Marcelin.
