Pierre Thibault Junior, Head of communications of CEP clarified that "recounts were held for dozens of seats of Deputy and for 7 seats of Senator" and that more time is needed to verify the ballots. "The decisions of the Departmental Bureaux for Electoral Complaints and Challenges (BCEDs) of the Artibonite and West, were displayed Wednesday, April 13 and the deadline for appeals to the National Bureau for Electoral Complaints and Challenges (BCEN), for these departments, expires today Saturday, April 16" specifies the statement.
