Prime Minister Jean Michel Lapin's General Policy ratification session is expected to be held on Thursday, May 30th, after two postponements of the presentation of his general policy statement https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27730-haiti-flash-violence-in-the-senate-the-opposition-wins-a-2nd-victory-the-pm-ratification-postponed.html https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-27715-haiti-politic-the-opposition-minority-forces-the-senate-to-postpone-the-ratification-meeting-of-the-pm.html by the action of 4 minority senators of the opposition ; and 24 hours after Carl Murat Cantave, President of the Senate of the Republic has threatened to close the parliament if the next meeting goes wrong.

"Either the sesion is carried out on high measures of institutional security, either on behalf of the office, I close the Parliament for its restructuring."

It remains to be seen whether the opposition senators will again disrupt the meeting, and in this case if Carl Murat Cantave will have the courage to close the parliament for its restructuring !
