In response to President Jovenel Moïse's statement announcing that he was collaborating with the Organization of American States (OAS) in establishing a Commission of Independent International Financial Experts to "achieve a fair, credible and objective audit" on the use of PetroCaribe funds https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-28234-haiti-flash-towards-an-international-audit-of-the-use-of-petrocaribe-funds.html , the Collective of 4 December 2013, takes note and opposes categorically to this approach in a note signed by Jean-Robert Argant its General Coordinator.

Note of Collective of December 4 2013 :

"[...] In the said statement President Moïse solicits from the OAS, the sending in our country of an audit commission which should work on the PetroCaribe file, thus rejecting the report of the Superior Court of Accounts and Litigation Administrative.

We denounce his attitude and reject this scandalous initiative of the Head of State who thereby disgraces, vilifies, degrades and betrays our institutions.

This call to the OAS, once again, demonstrates that the President of our country, Jovenel Moïse, is not at the scale of the challenges and is only engulfing us even more in the crisis.

The Collective of 4 December categorically opposes this approach and asks all its sister organizations of the Civil Society and all the forces of the nation to make a common front against this infamy.
