Teachers demonstration announced

At the call of the teachers' union platforms including: CNEH, GIEL, LINEH, REEH, RENATEPH, UNNOEH and teacher unions including: ANIH, COTECU, FEEH, REFERANS and UNNOH, teachers, staff, pupils and students are invited to take part in a peaceful march, Monday, October 21 to demand the resignation of the Head of State and the reopening of schools. The walk will start at the Lycée des Jeunes (Delmas 60) and will end at the Lycée Jean Jacques Dessalines.

Rice distribution

BRH : Creation of an Economic R&D Fund

Jean Baden Dubois, the Governor of the Bank of the Republic of Haiti, announced the creation of a Fund for Economic Research and Development (R&D) (modeling, statistics, analyzes among others...) on the sidelines of the conference-debate organized on the occasion of the visit to Haiti of the Chief Economist of the National Bank of Rwanda, Dr. Thomas Kigabo. This Fund should be launched when the BRH will be able to work in a normal socio-political context.
