Haiti - FLASH : The radical opposition hardens its position and rejects the USA call to the dialogue

Me André Michel, Spokesperson of the radical opposition of the movement called "Democratic and Popular" who this week launched with other leaders of the opposition a call to the "déchoukaj" of President Moïse https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29090-haiti-news-zapping.html , rejected the latest call for inclusive and unconditional dialogue proposed by the US Embassy to resolve the Haitian political crisis https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29094-haiti-usa-trump-administration-encourages-dialogue-in-haiti-without-delay.html

"[...] the US Embassy and the rest of the international community must not continue to support the Head of State [...] the opposition has already launched 7 days of national mobilization from Sunday 27 October to Saturday 2 November 2019 to force President Jovenel Moïse to step down.

We are maintaining our schedule and recall that the country will be totally closed during this period of intensive mobilization. We call on the international community to join the Haitian people in their fight for the satisfaction of their legitimate demands."

André Michel said that it is time to get down to business and that from October 27 to November 2 [week 7 of demonstrations and blockages], the country will be transformed into a real battlefield 'democratic', all roads will be blocked... "it will be a decisive week".

On their side the four senators of the radical opposition [Evalière Beauplan (PONT); Antonio Cheramy aka "Don Kato" (VERITE), Ricard Pierre (Piti Dessalin) and Nenel Cassy (Famni Lavalas), involved in the looting and violence in the Senate continue to demand the resignation of the Head of State and announce a hardening mobilization from 27 to 2 November, encouraging their activists, supporters and sympathizers to mobilize more.
