The Haitian Press Federation (FPH) led by Ady Jean Gardy, which brings together all the provincial press associations, reports that a nationwide investigation reveals that at least 45 Haitian journalists have suffered unacceptable repression in recent weeks, some were killed, wounded or received death threats from members of the Government or sectors of the radical opposition...

Following this investigation, the FPH set up a Commission of Inquiry to document each case of a victim of repression, under the direction of Osner Fevry journalist, lawyer of the Federation of Haitian Press of Cabinet Fevry and Director of Radio Sentinel Haiti

An official complaint has been submitted to the authorities according to articles 19, 20,21, 22, 23 and 35 of the Code of Criminal Instruction to be done what is right in time and place vis-à-vis the victims of the press

The Federation alerts all the world's press associations and the International Press Federation to obtain international solidarity, and never give up the Haitian press whose freedom of information and freedom of expression are under threat.
