Haiti - FLASH : 2nd earthquake in less than 72 hours in the Southeast
Yesterday Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 12:25 and 9 seconds, an earthquake with an intensity of 3.0 on the Richter scale was recorded near Marigot (Southeast).
The epicenter was located at 18.245 latitude and -72.002 longitude, at a depth of 14.6 kilometers, 34 km east of Marigot, 7.3 km northeast of Belle Anse, 56.3 km east of Jacmel and 45.3 km southeast of Port-au-Prince.
Recall that Haiti is located in the middle of a vast system of geological faults resulting from the movement of the tectonic plates of the Caribbean and North America, which explains the frequent earthquakes in the country.
