Saturday morning, at the Dominicano-Haitian border of Jimaní-Malpasse (West), the Dominican National Police (PND) arrested the Haitian diplomat Judith Exavier, Consul General of Haiti in Santiago, driving a white Jeep Lexus, registered G-353903.

Ms. Exavier's vehicle was the subject of a request from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), which according to J-2 sources (intelligence service of the Dominican Ministry of Defense) would be registered at the name of José Bernabé Quintero a member of network the Caesar Emilio Peralta Adamez nicknamed the "Dominican Pablo Escobar", accused of transporting tons of narcotics and numerous crimes, who was arrested in Bogota this week and about to be extradited to the United States.

The Public Ministry, represented by the Attorney General of the province Province of Independencia Soni Adriano Rosario Jose proceeded to the seizure of the vehicle.

Judith Exavier, who was unable to provide legal paperwork for the vehicle she was in, was taken into custody and interrogated for several hours before being released with the promise to report to the office of the DEA, in the Dominican Republic to be interviewed again.
