Opening of the Agricultural Development Bank in 2020
Jobert C. Angrand the Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture announced that the National Bank for Agricultural Development (BNDA) will open on May 1, 2020. 5 directors and 95 credit officers will be hired to serve the 95 Communal Agricultural Offices (BAC) distributed throughout the national territory. The starting fund from the Public Treasury is 500 million gourdes, but Angrand stresses that other additional funds could be used to operate the BNDA given the large financing needs of the agricultural sector.

Earthquake : Commemoration January 12, 2010

To mark the 10th anniversary of the 2010 earthquake, Carrefour town hall announces the organization of a series of commemorative activities.
