Radical opposition political parties signatory to the Marriott agreement "Mache Kontre", Fusion, OPL, Vérité, Veye yo, MOCHRENHA have delegated two of their leaders to participate in the political conference for a way out of the crisis, which was held on January 29, 30 and 31, 2020 at the Nonciature https://www.haitilibre.com/en/news-29887-haiti-politic-resumption-of-discussions-with-the-moderate-and-radical-opposition.html

These parties were held to specify in a press release that "[...] it is only their desire to seek a viable and lasting solution to the political crisis that the country is going through which motivated their participation in this meeting [...]". The positions defended are exactly the same as those expressed in a clear and unequivocal manner for many months, namely:

• The early departure of the President of the Republic;

• The holding of national meetings to define a common national break-up project;

• The convening of a constituent to revise our fundamental charter;

• The organization of a fair trial against the squanders of funds from the Petrocaribe program in particular and against those responsible for embezzlement of public funds in general;

• The trial and conviction of the authors of the summary executions, unpunished crimes and massacres perpetrated in recent times;

• The establishment of a transitional government, led by personalities chosen by the opposition and civil society;

In order to advance discussions and reach an agreement, the opposition parties stressed that they "consider making a major concession by renouncing to demand the immediate departure of the President of the Republic in case he accepts a significant reduction in his mandate" [1 year less)
