Since the start of the pandemic 47,287 people have died from Covid-19 worldwide (+ 11.52%), which is 4.883 more than yesterday. On Wednesday, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that New York State now had 84,046 confirmed cases (+ 10.89%) compared to the previous day, which is 8,251 more than the previous day and 2,220 deaths (+ 43.26%), or 670 more 24 hours. TOP 5 of the most contaminated boroughs in Montreal: Not available DOMINICAN REPUBLIC : Epidemiological situation : Wednesday in his daily report, the Minister of Public Health, Rafael Sánchez Cárdenas, reported that the number of confirmed cases since the start of the pandemic amounted to 1,218 cases (+ 9.8%) or 109 more in 24 hours. 57 people have died since March 1 (+ 11.76%) or 6 more since the day before. 1,071 confirmed cases suffering from mild symptoms are in home isolation (+ 17.5%), that is 145 more people in 24 hours and 147 people are in hospital isolation (+ 15.7%), or 20 more in 24 hours. FRANCE : Epidemiological situation : Wednesday April 1, 2020, Jérome Salomon, the Director General of the Ministry of Health announced that 24,639 people are currently hospitalized or 1,839 cases more (+ 8.0%) in 24 hours including 6,017 in intensive care (+ 8.14%) or 453 more than the day before.
