390,000 barrels of fuel expected
Eddy Jackson Alexis, the Secretary of State for Communication, confirmed that Haiti will receive this weekend the delivery of 390,000 barrels of petroleum products : 200,000 barrels of gasoline, 150,000 barrels of diesel and 40,000 barrels of kerosene.

49 young disabled people in the Public Service
This Friday will take place the ceremony of delivery of technical aids to 49 young disabled people who have been recruited to access public administration by the Office of Management and Human Resources (OMRH). This action by the Office of the Secretary of State for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (BSEIPH), through the Project to Improve Access to Social Services and Employment for the Benefit of Persons with Disabilities (PAASSEPH) funded by the World Bank thanks to a fiduciary donation from Japan, aims to make these young people more independent and more efficient in the execution of the tasks which will be entrusted to them.

Diaspora : Death of René Coicou
René Coicou, a Haitian exile who was to become Quebec’s first black mayor, died at the age of 84 earlier this week. He was elected head of the city of Gagnon in 1973. The Prime Minister of Quebec Francois Legault praised the memory of Gérard Coicou.

Health : Donation of vehicles
