Haiti - Guiteau Toussaint : The CEO of Haitel arrested yesterday... 17/06/2011 10:54:15 Mr. Franck Ciné, former majority shareholder of the Socabank, taken over by the BNC after the bankruptcy of the latter, was questioned for the first time Wednesday, by Me Augustus Harrycidas he Government Commissioner of Port-au-Prince. Following this interview, Mr Ciné is left free. Convened a second time Thursday, after being re-heard, he was arrested and taken to the Police station of Canapé Vert. "My father has been convened for the second consecutive day to the public prosecutor of Port-au-Prince, He was detained for more than two hours before to have be informed a warrant of committal" said his son, who said they had not received an explanation about the arrest. "Some bewildering questions around the CEO of the BNC and Socabank, were asked to my client" asserts Me Wilson Estimé, the lawyer for Mr. Ciné, who denies any involvement of his client in this case "When we were leaving the prosecution, we learned that Mr. Ciné should remain at the disposal of justice..." The facts and the charges brought against Mr. Franck Ciné, were not disclosed. The possible involvement of Mr. Ciné, in the case of Guiteau Toussaint, has not been officially confirmed yet.
