The Senator Joseph Lambert reproach to the Chief of Cabinet of President Michel Martelly, Me Thierry Mayard Paul, to have deliberately evoked a destabilization plan in connection with the murder of banker Guiteau Toussaint "As Chief of Cabinet of President Michel Martelly, he concluded too quickly [...] It is rather that kind of statements which, in the absence of an investigation leading to the perpetrators, can cause destabilization..."

Refusing the politicization of the murder of Toussaint Guiteau, Senator Lambert precise "It is necessary not to distract the public on the real investigation that should be conducted concerning the murder." In his opinion, Me Mayard Paul has made a big mistake by mentioning this hypothesis "We must go further in the investigation and take into account the existence of wealthy people in this country, owners of banks and other persons who, at one level or another, do business with the BNC", evoking the possible involvement of a mafia, national and international that could be responsible for this murder. "Who knows if other people will not be persecuted, if other people will not be shot dead, while the political sectors are fingered, setting aside those who might have significant financial interests in this case..."
